Crystalline Studios, in our latest collaboration with Weston Sound & Video, has officially completed our video for SEPTA, Philadelphia's one and only mass transit system. Our video aims to show equipment vendors how current customer Payment techniques work, so that they can help SEPTA as it upgrades its system. Check it out in our Gallery!

We have been receiving requests recently to see some of our earlier music video work, so check out the Gallery page (under "About Us" or at the bottom of your screen) to see the videos produced by Crystalline staff before there was a Crystalline Studios! OFTLabs is a brand-new company about to explode onto the medical scene with a new, blood-free process that can screen for lead in children (and adults) with 99% accuracy. And who did they call for their first video? Why, Crystalline Studios, of course! Keep eyes on this site for the video upload shortly, as we help expose the world to OFTLabs, and vice versa.

The most recent video shot for Longwood Gardens is now on display in their Visitors Center. It introduces the Gardens and explains what visitors can expect in the Autumn season. The video is to be replaced 4 more times over the course of the year.

First-time author Charlotte Wilson was in the Rittenhouse Square Library at 19th and Locust this past Wednesday the 9th, and Crystalline filmed her standing-room-only book signing! Congratulations to Charlotte for her success! Be sure to check out the interview with her in our video section, and purchase her sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant book "The Greatest Man I Never Met" on amazon.com.

Crystalline lent its assistance as a recording studio and mastering facility to ShinyGrape Studios, which is pitching its TV show concept, "Jersey Fresh: Tales of the Wiccan Chicken," at the Ottowa Animation Festival this week! Crystalline worked with ShinyGrape to record its voice-over artists and create a custom DVD to be handed out at the Festival. Longwood Gardens celebrated it's big 100 from July 20th-22nd, featuring concerts by the Kennett Symphony, Shawn Colvin and Marc Cohn, and two (count 'em) fireworks displays! Crystalline Studios, of course, captured it all. Stay tuned for possible clips in the near future...

Crystalline Studios teams up with Delta Dreams and ShinyGrape Studios to bring an entirely new Film Project to the Philadelphia area: "Project Twenty1". 21 filmmaking Teams will compete to make 21 short films in 21 days. All films will be screened downtown, released on DVD, and submitted to other festivals! Check out www.projecttwenty1.com for more info.

Our video crew was in the Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia tonight filming the percussion ensemble Pop G, as they performed with a multimedia backdrop which displayed slides, supertitles and even video productions, designed to accompany the music. Crystalline used three cameras, one stationary master, one manned camera in the audience, and one roaming in the wings, to capture all the action, as well as a deck to capture the projector feed to the screen for potential future editing. This was the closing concert of this year in the See Hear! series, produced by The Wolf/Mostovoy Initiative, and we look forward to many more next season.

A Crystalline crew visited Longwood Gardens once more to begin the production of their Virtual Tour DVD, due out in Fall of 2007. The tulips are truly beautiful this time of year, and the next best thing to seeing them in person is to see them in glorious high-definition video!

World Travel Vignettes commissioned Crystalline videographers to join their site inspection to Ethiopia, and they have returned with footage of the Bali Mountains, the Great Rift Valley, local marketplaces, hundreds of baboons, churches hewn from mountains out of a single piece of rock, and the rare Abyssinian Wolf, among countless other extraordinary sights. The final piece will be a 5-10 minute promotional video that WTV can give to their prospective travelers. Watch for a clip here on the website soon!

The Wolf/Mostovoy Initiative hosted an event in the World Cafe Live tonight, which began with a screening of the film "Music from the Inside Out" and then continued with performances by members of the Philadelphia Orchestra in some of their other musical ensembles, playing everything from jazz to bluegrass to music from the Middle East. Crystalline filmed this concert portion of the event for posterity. Clip to come soon.

Crystalline crew of 5 gathered 10 hours of footage over 2 days for the Christmas display at the world's premier horticultural display garden, Longwood Gardens. Located in Kennett Square, PA, Longwoods Christmas display is truly a breathtaking sight, and Crystalline began prepping a shoot with these two days of footage. To convey the spectacular beauty of the scenery, Crystalline employed a jib and a dolly in addition to the standard equipment complement, and captured some remarkable HD footage.
